Positioning

What this project is really offering

The goal here is to separate raw catalog facts from the sharper product shape users care about before they commit time.

About

vokoscreenNG is a powerful and versatile screencast creator available for both Windows and Linux platforms. It allows users to record their screen, specific areas, or individual windows with ease. The software also supports audio recording from multiple sources and includes a built-in camera feature to add a personal touch to your videos. Originally launched in January 2012 as vokoscreen for Linux, the project underwent a significant overhaul beginning in mid-2017. The goal was to create a version compatible with both Linux and Windows using the Qt and GStreamer frameworks. After over two years of development, vokoscreenNG was released for Linux in December 2019 and for Windows in January 2020. The source code for vokoscreenNG is hosted on GitHub, and the project welcomes contributions, including translations through Transifex.
